Eight Santa Maria-Bonita School District Students Recognized Through the Dolores Huerta Education Award Program

Eight Santa Maria-Bonita School District (SMBSD) junior high students and their teacher sponsors have been recognized by the Dolores Huerta Education Awards Program through the California Teachers Association (CTA).

This CTA award program provides recognition for educators and their students who demonstrate an understanding of the vision and guiding principles embraced by Dolores Huerta.

SMBSD Psychologist Feliciano Aguilar Honored With Key to the District

The Santa Maria-Bonita School District (SMBSD) will host a comprehensive, two-day Job Expo next month to recruit and hire new personnel to support our 17 elementary schools and four junior high schools. Friday, June 26: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 27: 9 a.m. – 2  p.m.

The Santa Maria-Bonita School District (SMBSD) is proud to share that District Support Specialist Jennifer Quaresma was honored by the Santa Barbara County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) during its 7th Annual SELPA-Bration. 

Quaresma, recognized for the Special Education Related Service Provider category, was one of 10 honorees throughout the county at the May 14 event held in Goleta
